The Role
As a Principal Consultant AI Solutions, you are the trusted advisor who turns the potential of AI into tangible business impact and the delivery lead who makes sure it actually ships. You own complex AI engagements end-to-end: identifying the right use case, building the business case together with your peers in our AI Strategy & Value practice, shaping the solution architecture, and steering a team to a result the client can rely on.
You are equally comfortable setting direction in the boardroom and rolling up your sleeves when a deadline is tight or a project hits turbulence. You have repeatedly delivered high-stakes work under pressure and ambiguity, and you measure success by the outcomes your clients achieve, not the deliverables you hand over.
Internally, you play a key role in our AI-native transformation, shaping how we use AI in our own practice and setting the standard for the team.
What You Will Do
Client Engagement & Delivery:
- Own the delivery of complex AI projects from proof-of-concept through production deployment, keeping scope, quality, and timelines on track even under pressure
- Lead AI strategy workshops and assessments with C-level stakeholders to identify high-impact AI opportunities
- Direct project teams to successful outcomes, making the calls that keep delivery moving and the client confident
- Design and architect AI solutions across the full spectrum: e.g. Generative AI, classical ML, Computer Vision, and MLOps/LLMOps
- Navigate build-vs-buy decisions and evaluate models, technology stacks, and infrastructure choices for enterprise clients
- Act as the client's trusted point of contact. Anticipating needs, recognizing where additional AI initiatives could create value, and turning satisfied clients into long-term partners
- Shape new project proposals and actively drive discovery and scoping calls with potential and existing clients, helping translate their needs into well-defined, deliverable engagements
- Drive Perelyn's AI-native transformation by pioneering internal use of AI tools, workflows, and methodologies
- Contribute to knowledge building through publications, conference talks, workshops, or client-facing thought leadership
- Mentor and develop consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and exceptional standards
- Shape service offerings and methodologies based on emerging trends in AI, including AI compliance and security
